The Davis Music Fest is coordinated by a non-profit organization called, Music Only Makes Sense (MOMS), because we don’t make any money, get it?  Our purpose is to produce live music events in order to raise funds for the benefit of our local elementary, grammar, middle and high-schools’ art, music and performing arts departments.

We put on the first ever Davis Music Festival in June 2011.  We also began supporting the Davis Live Music Collective and their efforts soon thereafter.

We’re happy to announce that our 5th Annual DMF is scheduled for three days, June 19 – 21, 2015, spanning 12 stages, with 67 bands to be enjoyed by an estimated 1,500 attendees.  It’s like our version of SXSW compacted into a single weekend.

This year’s profits will be shared between two beneficiaries: Davis School Arts Foundation and the DHS Blue & White Foundation.

Music Only Makes Sense is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Tax ID: 27-4283763.  We appreciate your tax-deductible contributions and/or sponsorships.

Please like us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/DavisMusicFest) and spread the word. Thank you.

  1. Tha Dirt Feelin’ has been impressive at Sudwerk’s Beerfest and The Graduate lately. We missed the opportunity to book them for 2011, but hopefully they’ll be working hard and can be considered for 2012. Keep it up, dudes.
