The Max Riley Group, hailing out of Davis CA, is a blues/funk/rock/fusion band. Built around the virtuosic guitar stylings of Max Riley, the band takes you on a hip shaking journey through music stylings influenced by artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, and Mark Knopfler. At 21 years of age, Max plays the guitar with an aptitude, feel, and passion that impresses guitar players twice his age. Competently backed up by Paco on Bass, Flamp on Sax, and Max’s dad Scott on the drums, this group always gets folks on the floor while putting smiles on their faces.
