A band that refuses to be locked into a single genre, Davis, California-based Boot Juice find a sense of freedom in their ability to float from bluesy rock’n’roll to progressive bluegrass and back. Inspired by the likes of Railroad Earth and soulful harmonies of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Boot Juice curates a sound that is uniquely their own, resulting in a layered and dynamic live performance. Since 2016, singer-songwriter-guitarists Evan Daly (lead) and Connor Herdt (rhythm), vocalist Jessica Stoll, bassist Brett Worley, and drummer David Provost have toured across the American west, woodshedding their sound and ultimately picking up mandolinist Alex Roth (West Nile Ramblers) to round out their modern style of string band music.
Following the 2018 release of their EP The Blackburn Sessions, Boot Juice toured throughout the Pacific Northwest before heading into the studio to lay down the tracks for their debut. The subsequent full-length album Speaking in Tones was released in May 2019. Boot Juice will be showcasing their debut album on tour this summer through the American west – check their tour dates at www.bootjuicejams.com
